In this module we cover an overview of POPI, law and the reason why it was implemented.


Condition One to Three

In this module we cover the first three conditions of the POPI Act.


Condition Four to Six

In this module we cover the next three conditions of the POPI Act.


Condition Seven & Eight

In this module we cover the last two conditions of the POPI Act.


POPI Implementation One

In this module we cover how to choose and appoint a Information Officer. We also look at the personal information that you require pre-authorisation for.


POPI Implementation Two

In this module we cover all the steps that you need to take to implement POPI in your company.


The goal of the POPI Act is to protect data subjects from security breaches, theft, and discrimination. To accomplish this, it outlines the eight principles that South Africa data processors must follow. Each condition encourages responsibility, security, and consent.
